We Need You

We’re all the same.
We’re slow to obey because we want our own way.
When will we learn?
I am to blame.
I put up a fight thinking I know what’s right.
When will I turn and put my trust in Your Name
and give You total control of all that I hold
and cling so tightly to?
Lord, help me remember that
all that really matters is You love me.
And all that I need to know is that You’ll always be true.
All that we need to do is love each other.
All that we need is found in You.
