The blind leading the blind, it happens every day

For we’re all blinded by the absent-minded 

need to look a certain way

The spec found in your eye hides the log bound in my own
And we're all beaten by the spec retrievin' 

efforts we have blown

We get pulled below by our own evil desires

We’re all haunted by the things we’ve wanted and 

what our greed inspires

We’re easily deceived by the passions of the heart

And fooled into thinking our sin isn’t stinking 

as it’s tearing us apart
